Resumen: I will give an overview of some of the results known about K3 curves, i.e. those curves that can be realized as a hyperplane sections of a K3 surface. I will focus on those results which involve the so-called Wahl map, from the nowadays classical work of Wahl and Beauville-Merindol, up to the most recent work on the subject by several authors.
