Resumen: In these lectures we will discuss the main ingredients in order to understand the "mirror phenomenon" for Fano manifolds. We will introduce the main ideas for the A-model (Gromov-Witten theory) and for the B-model (Landau-Ginzburg potentials) and formulate a weak version of mirror symmetry in terms of (quantum) differential equations. At the end, we will present some new perspectives and some ideas for future research.
